How do I find the church?
PGT is located in Southwest Philadelphia. The church address is 6200 Greenway Ave Phila Pa, 19142. Located off of 61st Woodland Ave. Please note that the church is located all the way at the end of the block, located next to a dead end in what appears to be a parking lot.
What should I wear?
Be comfortable. If you’re in jeans, that’s fine; if you prefer to dress up, that’s fine too. We see a good variety of styles – some are comfortable wearing suits or business attire, others prefer dressy-casual.
Am I expected to give an offering?
You are not expected or forced to give any money. No one will harass you for money. However, if you desire to give an offering or donation feel free.
What should I expect when I arrive?
Expect to be greeted by our warm, friendly church family. Here at PGT, we love to see new faces and will make you feel right at home.
We typically begin service with prayer followed by hearty, lengthy praise & worship. At some point the pastor will deliver a Bible Based message and altar call for healing. However, services do not always follow a particular format or schedule. According to our Senior Pastor, “The order of our service is miracles from start to finish”. Also, please arrive prepared to take your time and enjoy God’s presence. We are never in a rush.
Will I fit in?
Sure! We will welcome you, just as you are.
What if I’m not sure about Christianity?
No matter your background, nationality, race, or religious beliefs, all are welcome at PGT!
I need healing. Is it okay to come to receive prayer if I am a member of another church?
Absolutely! Healing is the children’s bread. You are under no obligation to join our church. We specialize in believing God for healing miracles and regularly pray for and witness both instant miracles and gradual healings.
What is the order of service?
We are not a traditional church. Our services do not follow the customs, schedule nor structure of a standard church service. Church is an interactive experience where we experience the reality of God. God’s Presence and Word is at the forefront of every service. Service may or may not include deliverance, healing, teaching, preaching, and prophetic words ; each service varies, as the flow is customized by the Holy Spirit. As one of our members says, “Our services do not feel like a seminary school class…! I am not just educated, I leave church healed, transformed, strengthened, uplifted, inspired, guided, directed, and refreshed!”
